Reclaim the Commons - a national convergence of biotech activists from all over the USA. The protest took place outside the BIO 2004 conference in San Francisco. Protesters blocked the 3 main entrances to the convention centre, causing general mayhem and disruption in the city centre - and bringing public and media attention to the controversial issues of genetic engineering.
